When im drawing (in procreate) sometimes the pen wont even draw at all for 10 seconds or would on and off mid line (this only happens when im drawing straight lines and even when its connected sometimes it wont even scroll (when im using a website or something) its really annoying
ive tried
-reconnecting the pen
-Re booting the ipad
-turning off devices near me
-recharging the pen and ipad
-screwijg the nib on tightly

We understand your input with your Apple Pencil seems to get interrupted. You've taken some great troubleshooting and isolation steps.
Have you tried using a completely different, or new tip on the Apple Pencil?
If you have a first generation pencil, you'll find a replacements in the box. You can also purchase a replacement tip through most Apple Authorized Resellers, or directly through Apple: Apple Pencil Tips - 4 pack
We also see you chose using iPadOS 14. Check at Settings > General > About to verify you're on iPadOS 14.8, which is the latest iPadOS 14 version.
Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Then, verify that your apps are also up-to-date: How to manually update apps on your Apple device

Hey, thanks for the info ive replaced the nib. It appears ti have improved nut every once in a while it does happen (less often). Is it possible my screen protecter/glass is causing it to have some issues somehow? Honestly its fine if I take it off but just wondering if that might be one of the reasons 👀 Thanks for the help though :) Also Also xD
How long can an apple pen 1 last (like the best quality) cause ive had it for around 7 to 8 months now or does it last for 1 or 2 years?

It's definitely good to hear you've seen some improvement with a replacement Apple Pencil Tip. It's certainly possible that a screen protector could cause interference as well. If you're able to remove the protector, and your Apple Pencil than works without issue, that would effectively isolate the screen protector as a contributing factor.
