Importing backup from iCloud Drive

I erased my Mac and want to import the information from the iCloud backup. I don't have time machine, can I bring my files back?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.6

Macs do not back up to iCloud. But, anything that you had stored in iCloud Drive (files, photos) will download again when you log back into iCloud on your Mac during setup.
