2009 AirPort base station

I have a 2009 AirPort base station model A1355. There is no light red or green. Is it obsolete? There is power coming to it, but does not seem to do anything. It was my backup source disk, but now it doesn't even show up in my network utility.

More details about the Time Capsule:

If you really do have the A1355 model, the Time Capsule used an internal power supply, not an external supply like the AirPort Extreme used.

So, the replacement power supply listed above would not be the correct power supply for the Time Capsule that you have. Sorry for the confusion.

Even if the Time Capsule were still operating, you would not want to keep any data on the Time Capsule's hard drive that you could not afford to lose, since the hard drive is 10+ years old and already overdue to fail.

Is it obsolete?

Yes, if you are asking about the service status of the AirPort from Apple. Apple won't help with any repairs or service, even if you are willing to pay them.

Since there is no power that is being applied to your AirPort, you might want to try a replacement power supply to see if it will bring the AirPort back to life for another year or two.
