iPhone 13 Pro Max shorting sound system

I drive a 2012 Land Rover LR4 and I just set up my iPhone 13 Pro Max yesterday. When I tried to connect the cars Bluetooth sound system to my phone the entire system makes a popping noise and resets the entire computer. I installed the new software update - same result. I tried several other friends iPhones (8, 10, 11 & 12) and none of them cause this issue. Really sad I might have to return the phone :(

Anyone else have these issues?

Hello kalikennedy,

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are unable to connect your iPhone to your car. We can understand why you'd reach out for a solution.

Here is a resource that can help.

If you can't connect a Bluetooth accessory to your iPhone

Also, it may be a good idea to contact the car manufacturer to see if they have any firmware updates for your vehicle.

Cheers!
