Big Sur bricked 2018 MacBook Pro

Not really looking for help at this point as I’m probably just gonna cough up $600 for Apple to fix my laptop, but just wanted to share in case anyone else has had the same issue.


My MacBook ran a Big Sur update the other night and when I woke up in the morning, the computer was completely dead and unresponsive. None of the attempts to revive it at the Apple store worked. If anyone else has had this issue (and has found a less costly solution), please share!
