Hello, my auto bright settings are broken. iPhone 12 auto-dims horrendously. Nothing has helped. All my online research proved null. My eyesight seems to be ruining, fading, becoming blurry and murky/glossy blotches in my vision. Need solution NOW.

Removing the screen protector and case could help if there are issues with it blocking the ambient sensor. Have you also looked at the settings to make sure there are no adjustments that need to be made: Adjust the brightness and color temperature on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

Just to confirm, does it adjust the brightness levels automatically but it is too dark than what you believe it should be? If so, remove the case and/or screen protector on the display and test to see if the issue is resolved.

Hello Karina184, the screen protector is glass and completely clear. It isn’t an issue to me when the brightness is at its peak. But the brightness always goes down by itself and I can’t adjust it. It stays dim for a long time and is ruining my eyesight.
