I have an iPad with 32gb iOS 15 and the storage space report makes no sense to me!

It says 3.6 GB of 32 GB used but the first four items are over 8GB.

And the first four alone are loaded into memory. Based on the graphic you can see over half the device memory is filled.

When compared to my iPhone. That I know has lots of free space the numbers on it look like they make sense.

So can someone please tell me an accurate way to see how much space I have free on my iPad please.

It is an iPad 6th generation with 32Gb total and 29.05 available running iOS 15.0.2.

There is a known bug with iOS/iPadOS 15 that causes mis-reporting of total capacity and used storage. Hopefully this issue will be fixed in a future update; for now, there is no workaround.
