I used to get text messages on my iphone and ipad but no longer get them on ipad

I don't always get my text across my ipad but not always. Sometimes a text will come through. I seem to have two different Apple ID's but do not know where to go to change this. If the problem is with my password then I don't know where to change this either

Check Settings/Messages/Send & Receive to see what ID is signed into Messages. If it is the password, you can change the password in the same place by tapping the ID, selecting Sign out, and then sign back in.

I can't read the 2nd screen shot, but if the 2 IDs are different, when changing to the new ID, there may be some data loss, but you can minimize it. If syncing photos with iCloud, ensure Optimization is turned off in Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Photos and/or in Photos/Preferences/iCloud. Then make sure full resolution photos are on the device/computer. When signing out of iCloud, if asked whether you want to retain data, choose yes. Messages conversations will be lost if they are addressed to the ID. See the article below for other places that the old ID should be removed. See Winston Churchill's response in the below discussion. If possible, also set up Family Sharing  between the IDs to keep access to your apps/purchases.
