MacBook Pro 13 won’t start

My MacBook Pro is dead. 2.3 ghz dual core I5 w/retina, not sure of date, probably 2016. Hadn’t used for 3 days, went to open no power, won’t restart. Was hot on bottom and adapter also. Bought new adapter didn’t help. Tried to restart SMC,pram, NADA. I keep it plugged in almost all the time. Could battery or fan be dead?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Your options are limited,

resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295

resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)
