How to connect MacBook Pro 13 2020 to iMac 27 2010 middle

Hi, everyone!

I have MacBook Pro 2020 (13-inch, four Thunderbolt 3 ports with macOS Big Sur and intel Core i5. And I have iMac 27-inch, Mid 2010 with macOS High Sierra. I connect both device cables Thunderbolt 3 to mini DisplayPort and mini DisplayPort to mini DisplayPort, then I try press Command F2, but I listen only 'bip' sound and nothing more. Please, help me! (I hope I hope it's not about my MacBook, in documentation I see 2019 year MacBook only or early).

Thank u very much for any help!

this is the governing article:

Use your iMac as a display with target display mode - Apple Support

It states that your MacBook must be 2019 model or Older AND running Catalina or older for this to work.
