HomePod mini volume level glitch

I’ve run into an odd issue recently. I use two HomePod minis as tv speakers with my Apple TV4K. When I go into the AirPlay settings via Control Center on the Apple TV and adjust the volume, it will adjust back to the previous volume setting just a moment later on its own. If you continue to adjust two to three more times, it will eventually stay put. Tried resetting HomePods and the issue persists. Seems to be software related after the most recent update. Anyone else encountered this glitch yet?
