How to turn off voice navigation on Apple Maps

I have an iPhone 12 Pro and v15.0.2 software. I can’t turn off the annoying voice directions on Apple maps. I’ve searched on Google for the answer but it the provided solutions must apply to older versions as there is no audio button I can find in the app, or in settings. I like using Apple maps on CarPlay but can’t bear the voice.
