Unable to reset Nvram

I'm trying to reset nvram but when I'm holding option+command+p+r the my MacBook Pro just keeps restarting 3 sec interval. I have succeeded in past but now I doesn't work. Only thing that has been changed since last time is CD/DVD drive which was replaced by apple provided CD/DVD drive.

Is there any workaround or fix?
