Noticed recently that many apps updates are significantly bigger than few months ago.
For example gmail updates used to be ~ 10 MB, now ~300 MB. Dropbox is now 200MB.
LinkedIn ~300 MB.
is this to finish my storage faster??

With larger intenal storage capacity iPad models with more powerful internal hardware, like faster and more poweful CPUs, graphics and more internal processing RAM, apps can get more features, which means they can do more, which needs more code, which means larger app file sizes.
What is the rated, internal data storage space/capacity of your iPad model and how much of this free, internal data storage capacity is left inside of your iPad model?
If it's a low storage iPad model, then there will be little that can be done.
