Monterey: Launchpad arrangement / launchpad layout changed

Installed Monterey today > noticed that LaunchPad layout changed. I do have a time machine backup of Mac before Monterey was installed. if I could only figure out where the database file or plist was stored so I can restore it. I did try manually rearranging one icon, restarting Mac, Launchpad remembered its location. this also worked for another app. I have 2 options: restore database / plist file or just start afresh and manually re-arrange icons. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8285610 > /System/Library/CoreServices/Dock.app/Contents/Resources/LaunchPadLayout.plist (did not try looking for this > found it in another Mac running Big Sur 11.6

Nicholas_B2,

I don't think dj_silvermane was looking for how to use Launchpad? (the link you shared), I have this question too, I think the question is if you know where the **location** of the file is that stores how the app icons are stored in Launchpad (to reitortate, **not how to arrage** Launchpad), so as to restore a previous arrangment.

Cheers!
