Left-handed use options

I am ambidextrous. But there are many days (like this AM when I got bitten 7x by mosquito on rt hand so) left is dominant for tday. I know there r many lefties out there so WHY CANT THERE B OPTION TO HELP US? Example: I went to add item to iCalendar but kept hitting “x” to clear line instead of getting to end of line = most annoying. I know majority operate left-right but is it so difficult to reverse i.e., that “x” to left side? Would u pls consider enhancements?
