Final Cut Pro Freezes ONLY When in a Moving Vehicle

So this is the weirdest problem I have ever had with technology. Before you think it's something else I can promise you I have trial'd and error'd this for the last few months and I 100% figured out that my Final Cut Pro will only freeze when I am traveling in a vehicle.

I travel a lot and try to get a lot of my video editing done while in the car, but when I am on a highway or going from place to place, Final Cut Pro will work insanely slow. Every click of a button will give me a spinning beachball for a 20-30 seconds or crash my mac. It is insanely frustrating and nearly impossible to work with.

However, if I am in a stable location such as my home, library, hotel, work, non-moving car, then the program runs smoothly without any problems at all. I've tested this a few times and it is 100% the same issue every time.

I tried disabling my location services thinking that could have to do with it, but that unfortunately did not work.

Does anyone have any possible idea why this could happen?

I don't have internet when I travel so I'm never connected to anything. What does local material mean? Kind of a noob over here.

I meant content that is stored in your internal or external drive, and not accessed via iCloud or anywhere on the internet.

Apparently that is what you are doing.

I was assuming that maybe some content online and a slow connection on the road could be related to the problem, but now I know that is not it.
