Today I updated to macOS Monterey( NOT BETA) on my M1 Mac hence when I launch activity monitor it freezes for 3-4 sec then it opens.
and I see this CarbonComponentScannerXPC running on intel not on apple silicon ! any solution
?

So, yesterday i went to the apple store just to use all the new m1 macs and i checked their activity monitor then i found almost all of the computers were running this CarbonComponentScanner XPC footprint. which made me feel that its none of my concern now as well as you guyz . apple should fix this in upcomming days .

It should be a process created to open Intel apps on Apple Silicon devices.
Probably you have Intel apps on your Mac, right?
I also see this process running on my 12.0.1 monterey. I have an M1 and no other "Intel" processes are shown running on it.
no i have not installed any intel based app before. as i see it looks like it's a service that's a part of the AudioToolbox framework. but i have no idea how to get rid of it.
by the way i also tried to re install my mac to see if it goes away, for a day or so it was actually gone but it came back again !
I did the same thing and it appeared after 2 days.
Anyway to solve this issue ? unless I turn a cron job to terminate this process -_-
