Screen saver broken in Monterey

When selecting the Photos library or a folder of photos, they do not render. Have tried various options (e.g., Classic, Ken Burns, etc.). No luck.

In Photos, with that library open, go to Photos->Preferences and click the button “Use as System Photo Library”. Then instead of navigating to the folder, choose the library or specific album within it.

Having this issue as well on my 2018 Intel Mac mini.

It's actually the latest issue I've been having with the Classic screensaver when pointed at an Album in my Photo Library.

Couple of months ago, possibly after an update to Big Sur, the Classic screensaver started displaying the photos in the album in their original unedited, non-16:9 aspect ratios.

Reported to Apple and sent an email to the folks as MacGeekGab podcast to give the issue some publicity.

Look in the Macintosh/library/application support folder. If it worked you should see a folder called ilifemediabrowser and iLifeslideshow folder. You only need the first folder to make the screensaver to work. If neither one is there then the install did not take. Not sure where to go to get the file unless you know someone with an older OS that you could copy the folder from.
