Can’t verify AOL password on my Mac mail no matter what I do.

Mac mail drops my aol password and I can’t renter what I know to be the valid password as it always says it’s invalid

Many eMail providers now require a separate App Password different from your eMail password…

Then you may need Ways to securely access AOL Mail…
