Monterey update showing ‘Retrieving device owners’ for a really long time

I started updating my M1 iMac and when I clicked ‘Continue’ it showed a progress bar that says ‘Retrieving device owners.’ and loading. And that’s been loading for a few hours now. That doesn’t look like an update installing, so I wanted to check if I should exit and try again or leave as is (it doesn’t seem like it will finish 😅). Thanks!
