Installing fonts on my computer

How can I install font zip files to use on all applications on my computer?

Unzip fonts to then use in My Docs I’ve unzipped files in my downloads and tried moving them, copying them, sharing them to my Drive but nothing seems to be working. I’m wanting to unzip fonts I’ve purchased and use them in My Docs. What am I missing here?

alternative to using font book I am trying to add a font directly into the fonts folder (system>library>fonts), but it is not allowing me to. Not sure why, because I have in the past. Does anyone know if something changed? or how to add fonts directly?
