Trying to update..however, Once the Monterey update gets to "less than a min remaining" it just sits there and won't complete the installation. I waited for an hour and nothing happened. I've tried it 4 times. Any suggestions please. Thanks
Clear the installer and install data files from your Applications and hard drive folder, and try again. Do this in safe mode boot (shift key).
Make sure your hard drive will not be over 85% full after adding 14 GB to it. If all you have is a 128 GB drive, you'll only be able to fit the OS on the drive and need two separate drives external for originals of anything beyond OS.
