Iphone 11 pro repair

My partner had broke the her screen of Iphone 11 pro.

we do not have warranty. She want to fix but she does not have money to do so.

my question is, i want to give her a surprise birthday coming.by pay for her repair.

which way is the most save money i could do?

should i buy apple care before i fix?

should I get her a gift card?
