What’s wrong with my iCloud storage?

I just upgraded my iCloud storage plan to 200GB monthly but I’m still told I do not have space. Why am I paying for a space I can’t make use of?

Hi there Flavourrobert,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

We understand that you have purchased more iCloud storage, but you are seeing a message that you're out of space. Is the storage alert regarding iCloud or your iOS device? If you're not sure, check out What's the difference between device storage and iCloud storage?

If the alert is regarding storage on your iOS device and not iCloud, you can manage your storage using the tips mentioned in How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Check that your upgraded storage is reflected on your account in Settings > [your name].

Feel free to add more details here.

Regards.

Flavourrobert,

Be sure you're connected to a strong Wi-Fi network. As shown in your screenshots, scroll to the bottom of your Photos app and choose "Manage". Do you begin to see the photos upload? If it continues, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Photos and toggle iCloud Photos off and back on. You can choose to remove from iPhone or download and when you enable the feature again, photos will begin to upload to iCloud again.

Regards.
