"The iPhone “iphone” could not be restored because the firmware file was corrupt". iOS update and restore errors doesn't have this prompt and I can't fix it. Background info, I have an iPhone XR if that matters.

I have done it all, I have read multiple pages and I keep getting "The iPhone “iphone” could not be restored because the firmware file was corrupt". I have read through the article iOS update and restore errors, there's no mention of the firmware file being corrupt and what to do. Any help would be appreciated. Background info, I have an iPhone XR if that matters.

Yes I have, multiple times today. It asks me to restore and update, as the only option aside from cancel. I click it and it downloads the software update. Says software: Then it downloads and says extracting software then follows up with an error message that says The iPhone “iPhone” could not be restored because the firmware file was corrupt. Disconnect then reconnect, try again.

I am experiencing the same problem\message. Appears unable to complete a restore due to corrupt firmware. I am trying to do a restore because the cellular setting\connection is not working and the recommended solution is a restore. Background: I am restoring from Finder on my MacBook (IOS Monterey), iphone11 has IOS 15.1 - but cellular not working.
