AirPods Pro Quick Mute Option
Why does Apple does not think it's not a good idea to allow headphones users quick access to privacy when, say, they are interrupted during an ongoing call? Almost every other headphone manufacturer thinks it's very useful, if only to allow manually managing the microphone when talking in very noisy environments.
With the Air Pods Pro, users must still fumble through device dialogs instead of simply hold&pressing the headphones. It's very inconvenient, especially when the phone is stowed away, or when being away from the keyboard. And it doesn't even seem like a huge R&D effort: simply add a "mute/unmute" option in the menu for the headphone press&hold configuration, and mute/unmute when required-- that's it. Hardware, UI: everything is already there.
