iPhone 12 cracked back.
Is the back of the 1Phone 12 very fragile? What is the cost of repair or is it under warranty?

It's glass and if dropped in the unfortunately right manner, it can crack as all glass can. It is not covered under warranty as iPhone warranty does not cover accidental damage at all.
And, the glass is fused to the phone, so it is not replaceable. The entire phone will need to be replaced. If you purchased AppleCare+ when you bought the phone, the replacement cost is $29. If you didn't, it will cost $449.
