Inverse Focus Sync Across Devices...?

Why does focus turn off on my MacBook Pro when I turn it on on my iPhone? I have a school focus, and I turned it on for my Mac, then turned it on for my phone, and when I did it turned off my Mac's focus; and when I try to turn it on again on my Mac, it turns it off on my phone.

Note: Whenever I use Focus/Do Not Disturb, I turn it on "Until end of event".

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.0

Hello Chewbakken,

It sounds like you're wanting to enable Focus across your devices during the same time. We'd be happy to assist you.

If you're using the same iCloud account synced with your devices, you have the option to enable Focus across your devices from one device. You can find this optioning Settings > Focus > enable Share Across Device. Once this is enabled, Focus will automatically be active on your devices once you enable it from any device. You can learn more about this feature and how it works here: Use Focus on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

If you do notice this feature isn't working as expected, contact Apple Support directly. Depending on your region, you may be able to reach them here: Get Support
