White screen closure on specific apps

I've had a recurring issue between devices (iPhone 7 and SE 2020): when I try to boot an app, the screen will show a blank frame, hold for a second, and then immediately close. It sometimes remains open, so I can double-tap home and see the white screen, but it will not start (and if I try to open it from that screen it will close and bump me back to the home screen). This happened on my iPhone 7 with Pokemon Go, which had worked for months before that, and just happened on my SE with Cookie Run, which I just downloaded.


No amount of restarting the apps, restarting the phone, resetting the phone, deleting and re-downloading the apps, or trying to boot from different locations fixes the issue. I have plenty of open storage and my iPhone is compatible. Any ideas?
