I can mirror my iPad to Apple TV and view YouTube etc but it won’t load Apple TV

Apple TV+ is compatible with Apple TV (3rd generation or later), not 2nd generation, unfortunately not even through AirPlay.

if it's the appletv 3g then google pulled the plug on the feature
