File format invalid for Pages document

I have recently updated to Monterey and have Pages 11.2. I have a Pages document (Internet Logons) that I use every day and last updated on 7th October 2021. After the update to Monterey, Pages cannot open the document and displays "Internet Logons.pages" can't be opened right now. The file format is invalid.

I have restored copies of the file from Time Machine from before 7th October and still same message. The file was perfectly usable before updating to Monterey.

Maybe Pages 11.2 is at fault - is it possible to revert to an earlier version?

I suggest rebooting the Mac into Safe Boot Mode, and trying Pages v11.2 on the same annoying document to see if it opens in this boot mode. If it doesn't, then reboot normally and perform the test again.

Ever since Pages v5 was released in Fall 2013, there have been episodes that defy explanation for Pages forgetting how to open the occasional document that it just saved.

I've just tried with Pages 11.1 and no luck. The file is usually located in a small dmg folder requiring a password to access the contents. It is held on the main disk on my desktop Mac. The other pages documents held within the dmg folder are still readable. The file hasn't been moved to any cloud services. I did try copying it to my iCloud Drive and trying to open it with Pages on my iPad but no luck.

I don't understand why previous versions stored on Time Machine don't work when the file worked fine three days ago before I moved to Monterey.
