Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Why do windows have a noticeable gap at the bottom?

Whenever I open a new tab or window, by default, there is a noticeable gap at the bottom of the window that annoys me a lot.

(Please ignore my schoolwork, it is an example window)

As you can see, there is a small gap that can be pulled down, and it isn't. It bothers me so much to the point where I had to ask this question.

If you were to pull it down, it would be so much nicer and nobody would be able to notice it.

Here's what it looks like when the tab is pulled down. Isn't that much cleaner?

Anyway, please discuss any questions or concerns you'd like to make about this.

And Apple, please add this. It would make my life so much easier.
