Not receiving security codes/2 factor authentication codes via phone or text with upgrade to IOS 15 on Iphone XR
I have never had an issue receiving security codes/2 factor authentication codes via text or phone call from third party vendors who are trying to confirm my identity and request when attempting to login to their website/portal or app. However, after I have upgraded to IOS 15 on my iphone XR, I am no longer receiving these codes via phone or text.
I have not changed any settings or blocked any phone numbers. I verified all of my settings on my iphone are correct and turned on based on instructions from apple.
Is this a known issue? and If so, how can it be fixed? My wife who has the new iphone is also experiencing the same problem as me. She had no issues previously until she upgraded recently. we both installed all recent software updates and app updates are on iphones which are current as of 10.28.2021.
