I just transferred my data from my iPhone 8 Plus to iphone 12 couple days ago, but when trying to play game pigeon on imessage, I had to redownload it but every time I click on the cloud symbol, it won't download and still leaves the cloud symbol there.

We see after transferring your data from your old iPhone to your iPhone 12, you're unable to re-download Game Pigeon.
To clarify, if you restart your iPhone and then try downloading the app again, does it load at that point?
If so, ensure the app doesn't show in the list of apps under Settings > General > iPhone Storage. If it does, tap on it, delete it and then download it again. If the problem persists still, try downloading on a different Wi-Fi or cellular network.
Let us know the results from there.
