Hi,
Just upgraded from Big Sur to Monterey on my iMac Pro and discovered that all my eps-files doesn't show any icon preview anymore, just a generic eps icon. I have tried to open one of them in the latest Adobe Illustrator 2022 and saved it again - but still no icon preview. Restart doesn't help either!
Is this a bug or am I the only one with this issue?
As an illustrator, this is really frustrating.

If you did everything right, you should now have .EPS previews back again. That's a workaround until apple fixes it in the System/Library, hopefully soon.
Force Quit com.apple.quicklook.ThumbnailsAgent process in activity monitor, then force quit finder. I got everything back except eps. Trying the above solution for eps currently.
Copying the file back into the /System/Library/QuickLook folder is blocked, so how did you accomplish that?

Followed your instructions and it worked. The file icon is still a generic EPS icon but the thumbnail displays if I click on it. Progress...

Tried this but you can't copy or drag the new "Illustrator.qlgenerator" to "/Library/QuickLook".
