Battery managment

Hello Apple,

I have a good idea for batterylife software feature.

We already have optimized loading in iOS (which keeps the charge level at 80% when someone charges the phone at night) So there are already system solutions for charging processes.

so I would like to ask you to introduce additional settings to the system that would allow you to maintain any% of the battery manually. When I drive a car and the phone serves as a navigation device, it is constantly connected to the charging, which heats up. If there was a system tool to keep the phone within 45-50% of the charge. It is similar with the normal use of the phone - I try to use the phone within 25-80% of the charge and never leave the phone to charge at night - thanks to this my batteries in most cases show minimal consumption but I have to control the charge level manually, as in the case of driving car can be impossible or dangerous. I am waiting with longing for such functionality.

I think you put too much effort to try look after the battery. Typically it takes about 2-3 years of use before the battery needs to be replaced and cost of a new battery is reasonable. I charge the iPhone anytime I know it needs juice to get me going but I also leave it charging overnight. Once it hits 100%, the charging process stops. So no need to worry.
