When I try to AirPlay my phone shows an old TV that isn't even in my house anymore. How can I remove it from the list?

iPhone 13 Mini
There’s only one TV that’s on the wifi network now but I still see the old one on my AirPlay list. When I tap on it, it tries to connect and then gives me a message saying it failed.
The TV wasn’t connected with Bluetooth so I don’t even have the TV on the Bluetooth list to begin with
Hello josanwang,
Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. We see you've reviewed the article about how to Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror the screen of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, and you might be seeing an older device in a list for AirPlay. We'd like to see how we can help.
From the resource you reviewed, you should only see devices that are connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone. Do you happen to have another smart TV that might share the same device name? As a test, what happens if you try to tap the smart TV from the list?
As another possibility, you could try tapping Settings > Bluetooth to see if it appears as a Bluetooth device. If so, you can tap the "i" and then forget the device and see if this makes a difference.
Let us know if that helps. Take care.
Hi josanwang,
We appreciate you following up with us. Do you have any other iOS devices or a Mac computer in the house? If so, do you see the old smart TV listed on this as well? Knowing this will help in narrowing things down.
Also, how long has it been since the TV in question was in your house? Have you restarted the iPhone since? Restart your iPhone
Cheers.
The old smart TV does not show up on any of my other iOS devices or Mac computers. It's been over a week since I replaced my old smart TV, and I have restarted my iPhone since.
Hi josanwang,
Thanks for letting us know. To look at it from another direction, have you tried restarting your router/modem? If not, give that a try. If you still see the device listed after, we recommend using this link to contact Apple directly: Get Support
Best wishes.
It's still there. I'll contact support directly.
