My Phone Won’t Let Me Delete Mail data from iCloud

I deleted the Mail app and now I can’t delete Mail data from iCloud. I can’t find answers on any article about it. What do I do? It’s taking up a lot of space with backups of dead email accounts that I can’t get rid of. I can’t access any of the emails (and don’t want to) or delete the data.

iPhone 11, iOS 13

Hi there namenotimportanttt,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We can understand the concern with being unable to delete this data from your device, and we're happy to help. We see that you have Low Power Mode enabled on your device. As this does help preserve your battery life, it can cause some processes to not perform as usual. We suggest disabling this function, and trying to remove this data. Get more info on this here:

Use Low Power Mode to save battery life on your iPhone

Let us know the outcome, and we can go from there if needed.

Best regards!
