Why can't I click on I agree on terms and conditions. There is no place to do it!

Trying to install Monterey on my 2020 MacBook air. There is no place to click "I agree" to terms and conditions.

If the page is long enough, sometimes you have to page down the window with the scroll bar to access the "I Accept" button.

Hi Carol,

If you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions for macOS Monterey, you can force macOS Monterey to install on your Mac if you have the full "Install macOS Monterey" app on your Mac.

  1. Log in to an administrator account.
  2. Open Terminal, located in Applications -> Utilities.
  3. Run this command to find out your account username: who
  4. Paste and run this command to start installing macOS Monterey via the command line. Replace username with your real username: sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Monterey.app/Contents/Resources/startosinstall --agreetolicense --user username --passprompt --rebootdelay 1
  5. Enter your password in Terminal when prompted. Terminal won't show any characters or indication as you type your password.
  6. Wait for the preparation to complete. When the preparation is finished, your Mac will restart and finish installing macOS Monterey.
