I received a letter from neighors to join a neighborhood association which I though ok but after signing up I realized from 1st message this is not just neighbors but EVERYONE in area! The next day I deleted app off phone and though it gone but not

How do I get rid of this app as I deleted off phone but still have people texting me? I travel and really don’t want my business know by everyone! I went to settings checked only to see its

not in library as I stated earlier I signed on that day but deleted the next morning as Neighbors is

not my Neighbors but Whole Area where I live? What can I do?

iPhone 7, iOS 14

When you downloaded and signed into the app, you created an account. If you are speaking of the Next Door App, you can log into your account on your computer and delete your account there. You'll not receive any notifications after you delete your account.

Deleting an App does not delete an account. Doing what I suggested, if that is what you did, will remove the account completely, and without an account, you won't receive messages.

It seemed that my problem was eliminated as I was able to Deactivate the account now I will

wait and see if this really worked my thanks to lobsterghost1 as I will see if deactivation will

let me have peace of mind? It left me take back my information but I still am curious if this

Deactivation is the same as DELETE??!! Will keep you posted on this!

Yes I did what you had told me by going to the computer that day instead of the Iphone

followed your instructions which got rid of the account completely and as your said that

now the account is gone I am happy!! THANK YOU for your help on this matter!!
