macOS monterey and time maschine

My Time Machine ** does not work properly after upgrading to OS Monterey- on my M1 MacMini. Does anyone have the same problem?

Time Machine , immediately following update to Monterey unable to write to my Time Machine ext HD Loading Monterey has done something that prevents time machine from accessing my BU HD. The drive was checked using Disk Utility, it is fine. What did Monterey do automatic Time Machine BUs?

Time Machine slow in Monterey One of the seniors I help with computer problems updated her 2019 iMac running Mojave to Monterey and her TimeMachine backups are taking four and five hours to complete. Anyone have any insights or suggestions to offer?

Hello erikfromviborg and welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears you are having some difficulty with Time Machine after updating an M1 Mac to macOS Monterey.

How to use safe mode on your Mac

Some users with similar issues have reported that running the backup whilst booted to safe mode is effective as a temporary workaround.
