iCloud Drive sync takes days/weeks on Windows 10

Hello,

I'm simple trying to have iCloud Drive working again but the syncing process seems broken.

I've reinstalled iCloud (12.5.0.74) on my computer running Windows 10 Home (20H2 19042.1288 ).

I have 50.000 files that takes around 250Gb on my iCloud Drive.

I have a fast connection (fiber optic), my laptop is using an SSD with an i7 CPU. So pretty good performances overall.

But iCloud syncing is incredibly slow. It takes days to just count the number of files, not even downloading them yet.

iCloud drive is taking 20% of my CPU, but no usage of disk and network.

I've uninstalled :

  • Reinstalled iCloud multiple times (through Microsoft Store)
  • Cleaned the cache with CCleaner
  • Rebooted the laptop
  • Changed the permissions of the icloud drive
  • Let the computer on for days
  • Uninstalled One Drive
  • Stopped my NOD32 antivirus
  • Right click on folder inside iCloud Drive and selected "Keep on this device", to try to force the download
  • With window search, I've searched all file with the wild card (*) to maybe force a sync process by letting windows listing everyfile
  • I've turned ON the logs (Ctrl+Right click on icon status bar, then reboot, then Ctrl+Right click : Prepare logs)

The logs named iCloudDrive.2021-xx-xx_xxxx.log is now around 500mb after running for a day. I don't really understand the line of debug, I'm adding them in this post.

  • Should I check other logs ?
  • What should I do please because I feel like I've tried everything ?

Windows, Windows 10
