iMac stopped recognizing Focusrite 2i2

Seemingly related (definitely after) to "updating" iMovie (which also is hosed), my iMac stopped recognizing my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. I use Audacity for VO recording and tonight it doesn't see the 2i2; nor does the System Preferences - which is where I would previously go and just unplug and replug and off we go. Now - nothing.

Any thoughts team?

Apple is just about to put me completely out of business with all these great updates. :-(
