Can I connect a ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 Dock Gen 2 to a Macbook Pro M1Max? Will the macbook pro m1max then display two extra screens via the dockingstation with only the use of one usb-c cable?

I am planning to buy a new macbook pro 16 inch M1max. Can I connect a ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 Dock Gen 2 to a Macbook Pro M1Max 16 inch? Will the macbook pro M1Max then display two extra screens via the dockingstation with only the use of one usb-c cable?

I've got the 16" MBP with an M1 Pro and I can confirm it doesn't work. It can only do one display with the dock and the second display I have to connect to the HDMI port on the laptop. Also the sound on the dock shows up as an option but also doesn't work.

I have a couple other USB C docks too that do the same thing and my research makes it sound like it's a macOS thing. You need to find a dock that explicitly supports macOS as just any old dock won't let you do two displays it sounds like (but I haven't confirmed myself yet).
