Return key Magic Keyboard iPad Pro ios15 update

After i updated my iPad with ios15, the return button doesn’t work as it used to. I was able to get a new line by doing command + return and send a message by just hitting return (on all apps), but now i can only send a message by hitting enter, on apple’s message app. On messenger and twitter dms and other apps on my iPad, when i want to send a message, it doesn’t send when i hit the return button. It just keeps giving me a new line. Very frustrating! I have tried shift + return, command+return and nothing let’s me send a message from my magic keyboard on my iPad. i have to take my hands off the keyboard and hit the send icon, which cuts the flow when sending message and slows communication time with peopel DRASTICALLY, especially when a conversation is going fast. Someone please help me with this issue - thank u!!!!
