Remote SSH executed on my workspace- how to do a hard wipe?

Hi there,

For reasons I will not go into a lot of details about- there is remote SSH execution on my workspace and I want have to removed so I can sell my laptop. How can I do this? This is currently on my 2018 MacBook Air - I suspect there are implications for my mobile devices too...any advice will be useful.

Thanks for your help.
