iMac turns off on sleep mode and stays off

IMac goes to sleep mode and after 5 to 10 minutes, shuts off and will not start by pressing start button.

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 12.0

Don't use Sleep! Put the display to sleep. Below is a screen shot of my Energy Saver settings, been using this for years without any issues.

It is also wise to restart the computer in Safe Mode too.
