Windows 10 / iPhone 11 - Device Unreachable

Hi, all.

Connecting fully updated iPhone 11 Pro to fully updated 64-bit Windows 10 HP laptop. When I start copying photos from the phone to the laptop Windows will lose connection to the phone after 20-30 have been copied. I've googled this and found numerous articles about "how to fix iPhone device unreachable with Windows 10" and have tried all of the steps (some of which seem to be out of date). I've also found numerous posts on this community about the same issue and have tried all suggestions I was able to find, to no avail. I've tried manual copy from file folder, the latest version of iTunes, and Windows Photos app. All fail which points to the issue being with Windows 10.

I'm at the point of just throwing my hands up. Any assistance to help me resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I read that you also use Windows Photo app.

I did the following steps about 3 weeks ago on a friend's PC:

Go to start

Go to 'Import' at the top right of the screen.

Click on 'From connected device'.

Connect iPhone to computer via USB cable.

Click on 'Allow' on iPhone

Photos from iPhone appear on screen

Select the photos you want to move to your file by clicking the small square in the photo.

Indicate the folder you want to move them to under 'Change destination'.

And then click 'Import' at the bottom of the blue area. After which the photos will be placed in the folder you chose.

Hope this helps you & the laptop will not lose connection with the iPhone.
