I can't find how to stop bluetooth devices waking my Mac (M1) Mini. All advice Ive googled is to select Advanced settings in the bottom right of the bluetooth window, which I do not have. I need to be able to move the mouse while the Mac sleeps to charge it.

type in terminal:
defaults -currentHost write com.apple.Bluetooth RemoteWakeEnabled 0
check with:
defaults -currentHost read com.apple.Bluetooth
fixed waking up mine, but wake up with click still works.
Done!

Disappointed that Apple silently turning off the option and contributing global warming.

Disable Sleep, it’s not needed on later Macs. Check “Prevent…” in Energy Savings and leave everything else unchecked. The timer to turn display off can be left as is, unrelated to Sleep.
